Fellow of the ARA (FARA)

FARA is the highest level of professional recognition offered by the ARA. 

Application criteria

  • A current CV
  • 6 competency forms, each of a maximum of 1500 words, at a minimum of attainment levels 4-5
  • Minimum of 3 competencies at level 5 
  • Competencies from a minimum of two areas
  • A contribution to the profession statement (a maximum of 750 words)
  • A professional development statement (a maximum of 750 words)

Candidates must be a Registered Member of the ARA and have completed at least one CPD Review. The ARA recommends that candidates hold a minimum of nine years work experience following their qualification as a Registered Member of the ARA.  

There are two assessment cycles each year. The closing dates for Fellowship applications are 31st May and 30th November
